 Light

• Loves bright, indirect light, but it’s more tolerant of lower light than pink varieties.

• Lower light = darker, greener leaves.

• Avoid harsh direct sun — it can scorch those delicate edges.

 Watering

• Let the top 1–2 inches dry out between waterings.

• It prefers evenly moist soil, not wet feet.

• Droopy leaves? Usually means it’s thirsty.

• Yellowing leaves? Probably overwatered.

 Temperature & Humidity

• Ideal temps: 18–27°C (65–80°F).

• Average room humidity is fine, but 40–60% keeps it happiest.

• Avoid cold drafts — they’re not fans of that chilly life.

 Soil & Potting

• Use a light, airy soil mix: potting soil + perlite + a little coco coir or bark.

• Make sure your pot has drainage holes (seriously, it matters!).

• Repot every year or when roots poke out the bottom.

 Fertilizer

• Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer.

• Chill on feeding in fall and winter.

 Growth & Shape

• Syngoniums will start bushy and then grow viney as they mature.

• You can trim back the vines to keep a fuller shape.

• Rotate weekly for even growth — they lean toward the light like little sunflower wannabes.
