As a Southern California native, I grew up surrounded by lush natural landscapes and some of the most incredible plants. As an adult in the Midwest, several years ago, I found my plant loving soul had transitioned into vegetable gardening and houseplants. These plants became my escape through some difficult life transitions and long days in the corporate world. I was burnt out and generally felt overwhelmed by a never-ending to-do list both at work and home.  

At the end of 2021 after a lot of consideration, planning, and one giant leap of faith (mixed in with some sheer crazy!) I left my secure 9-5 job to go back to school for a degree in Horticulture. It was time to pursue something that excited me and plants are it! 

I now enjoy sharing with others what I've learned at the shop and through workshops, and classes. I hand-pick everything we offer with the intent to provide quality products and plants that will put a smile on your face the moment you encounter them.
