LIGHT

• Prefers medium to bright, indirect light for best color retention and compact growth.
• East or West-facing windows are ideal.
• Insufficient light causes stretching (legginess) and variegation (pink, white) to fade to green.
• Avoid direct, harsh sun, which will bleach and burn the delicate leaves.

WATER

• Prefers the soil to dry out mostly between waterings.
• Allow the top one-third of the soil to dry out completely before soaking thoroughly.

• Pruning is essential to control shape and prevent legginess.
