Raven ZZ Plant 6"

The Raven ZZ Plant (Zamioculcas zamiifolia ‘Raven’) is a super stylish, low-maintenance houseplant with dark, almost black glossy leaves. It’s basically the goth cousin of the regular ZZ Plant — tough, drought-tolerant, and super chill.

Light:

• Low to bright indirect light is ideal.

• It tolerates low light really well but grows faster in brighter spots.

• Avoid direct sun — it can scorch the leaves.

Water:

• Let soil dry out completely between waterings.

• Water every 2–3 weeks depending on conditions (less in winter).

• It’s drought-tolerant and prefers under-watering to over-watering (which can cause root rot).

Soil:

• Use a well-draining potting mix. Cactus/succulent mix works great.

• Add perlite or pumice for extra drainage.

Temperature & Humidity:

• Thrives in 65–85°F 

• Average indoor humidity is fine.

• Avoid cold drafts and temps below 45°F

Fertilizer:

• Not a heavy feeder.

• Use a balanced houseplant fertilizer (diluted) every 2–3 months during spring/summer.

Extra Tips:

• Dust the leaves now and then to keep them shiny and allow for better light absorption.

• New growth starts bright green and darkens over time to that deep black-purple color — totally normal!
