Light:

• Prefers bright, indirect light.

• Can tolerate medium light but will grow more slowly.

• Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves or fade the color.

Water:

• Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil are dry.

• Water thoroughly, allowing excess water to drain away.

• Do not let the plant sit in water; it’s sensitive to root rot.

• In winter, reduce watering frequency as growth slows down.

Humidity & Temperature:

• Thrives in average household humidity (40–60%).

• Likes temperatures between 65–80°F (18–27°C).

• Keep away from cold drafts and heating vents.

Soil:

• Use a light, well-draining mix. A good blend is:

  • 2 parts peat or coco coir

  • 1 part perlite

  • Optional: a small amount of orchid bark for better aeration

Fertilizer:

• Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a diluted, balanced houseplant fertilizer.

• Do not fertilize in fall or winter.

Pruning & Maintenance:

• Remove any damaged or yellowing leaves to maintain appearance.

• Wipe leaves gently with a damp cloth to keep them dust-free.

• Pinch back growing tips to encourage bushier growth if desired.

Pests:
