Size

The plant photos shown are our stock images used to represent the general appearance, size, and quality of the plant you’ll receive. Please remember that each plant is unique—natural variations in color, shape, and size are completely normal!

 Light

  • Prefers bright, indirect light

  • Tolerates partial shade very well

  • Avoid strong direct sun — it can scorch the leaves

  • Too much shade may slow growth

 Water

  • Keep soil consistently moist, but not soggy

  • Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil feel dry

  • Reduce watering in winter

  • Doesn’t like drying out completely

 Soil

  • Use well-draining, rich potting mix

  • A standard houseplant mix with added perlite works well

  • Always use a pot with drainage holes

 Temperature

  • Ideal range: 60–75°F (16–24°C)

  • Handles cooler temps better than heat

  • Avoid hot, dry air from heaters or vents

 Humidity

  • Prefers moderate humidity

  • Average indoor humidity is usually fine

  • Brown leaf edges = air may be too dry

 Fertilizer

  • Feed in spring and summer

  • Use balanced liquid fertilizer every 4–6 weeks

  • Skip feeding in fall and winter

 Pruning

  • Prune to control size or encourage bushiness

  • Best done in spring

  • Remove leggy or damaged growth as needed

 Pests

  • Watch for spider mites, scale, and aphids

  • Check leaf undersides regularly

 Growth & Placement

  • Can grow into a large, shrub-like plant

  • Great as a statement indoor plant or in shaded outdoor areas (mild climates)
