* The plant photos shown are our stock images used to represent the general appearance, size, and quality of the plant you’ll receive. Please remember that each plant is unique—natural variations in color, shape, and size are completely normal!
Light
-
Bright, indirect light is ideal — that’s where it’ll grow its fullest and show off the best color.
-
It can tolerate low light (like most snake plants), but growth will slow down and the leaves might stretch a bit.
-
Avoid long hours of direct, harsh sunlight, which can cause leaf scorch.
Water
-
This is a drought-tolerant little guy!
-
Let the soil dry out completely between waterings — seriously, it prefers to be a bit neglected.
-
In spring and summer, water roughly every 2–4 weeks depending on humidity and light.
-
In winter, water once every 4–6 weeks.
-
Always make sure the pot has good drainage, and never let it sit in water.
Soil
-
Use a well-draining mix, like a cactus/succulent blend.
-
You can add extra perlite or pumice for even better drainage.
-
A pot with a drainage hole is essential.
Temperature & Humidity
-
Likes it warm — around 65–85°F (18–29°C).
-
Normal indoor humidity is fine.
-
Keep it away from cold drafts, especially in winter.
Fertilizing
-
Feed lightly during spring and summer (once a month) with a diluted succulent fertilizer.
-
Skip feeding in fall and winter when it’s resting.
Other Care Tips
-
Wipe the leaves occasionally with a damp cloth to keep them dust-free.
-
Remove any yellow or damaged leaves at the base.
-
If your Hahnii looks crowded, you can divide the clump and repot to create new plants — they love that fresh space!
