Size

* The plant photos shown are our stock images used to represent the general appearance, size, and quality of the plant you’ll receive. Please remember that each plant is unique—natural variations in color, shape, and size are completely normal!

Light

Aglaonema ‘Tigress’ likes medium to bright indirect light, but it’s pretty forgiving.

  • Best spot: Near a bright window with filtered light.

  • Avoid: Direct sun — it can scorch those lovely patterned leaves.

  • Low light? No problem! It’ll just grow a bit slower.

 Water

This plant prefers to stay slightly moist but never soggy.

  • Water when: The top 1–2 inches of soil are dry.

  • Pro tip: Use your finger or a moisture meter to check.

  • Warning sign: Yellow leaves = too much water. Crispy edges = too little.

 Temperature & Humidity

Your Tigress loves the same cozy temps you do.

  • Ideal range: 65–80°F (18–27°C).

  • Avoid: Cold drafts or sudden temp drops.

  • Bonus: A bit of extra humidity (like from a pebble tray or humidifier) keeps it extra happy.

 Soil

Go for a well-draining potting mix — something like:

  • 1 part regular houseplant soil

  • 1 part perlite or pumice

  • Optional: a bit of orchid bark for better airflow

 Fertilizer

Feed during the growing season (spring to early fall) every 4–6 weeks.

  • Use a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength.

  • Skip feeding in winter when growth naturally slows.

 Maintenance

  • Prune: Trim yellow or damaged leaves to keep it looking fresh.

  • Wipe leaves: A damp cloth keeps dust off those gorgeous patterns (and helps it breathe better).

  • Repot: Every 2–3 years or when roots start peeking out of the drainage holes.

Pet Safety

Unfortunately, Aglaonemas are toxic to pets if chewed — so keep it out of reach from curious cats or dogs
