Light:

• Prefers bright, indirect light.

• Can tolerate medium or lower light, though the colors may fade slightly.

• Avoid direct sun, which can scorch the leaves.

Water:

• Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil are dry.

• Water thoroughly and let excess drain out completely.

• Reduce watering frequency in winter.

• Yellowing leaves often indicate overwatering; dry, crispy edges suggest underwatering.

Humidity & Temperature:

• Enjoys moderate to high humidity but adapts well to normal indoor levels.

• Ideal temperature range: 65–80°F (18–27°C).

• Keep away from cold drafts or heat vents.

Soil:

• Use a well-draining mix, such as:

  • 2 parts potting soil

  • 1 part perlite

  • 1 part coco coir or orchid bark

Fertilizer:

• Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a diluted, balanced houseplant fertilizer.

• Stop feeding in fall and winter when growth slows.

Pruning & Maintenance:

• Remove yellow or damaged leaves to keep it neat.

• Wipe leaves occasionally to remove dust.

• Pinch back stems if it becomes leggy to encourage fuller growth.

Pests:

• Watch for spider mites, mealybugs, and scale, especially in dry conditions.

• Use insecticidal soap or neem oil if needed.

Toxicity:

• Mildly toxic if ingested, so keep out of reach of pets and children.
