Light:

Prefers bright, indirect light.

Can tolerate medium or lower light, though the colors may fade slightly.

Avoid direct sun, which can scorch the leaves.
Water:

Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil are dry.

Water thoroughly and let excess drain out completely.

Reduce watering frequency in winter.

Yellowing leaves often indicate overwatering; dry, crispy edges suggest underwatering.
Humidity & Temperature:

Enjoys moderate to high humidity but adapts well to normal indoor levels.

Ideal temperature range: 65–80°F (18–27°C).

Keep away from cold drafts or heat vents.
Soil:

Use a well-draining mix, such as:

2 parts potting soil

1 part perlite
-
1 part coco coir or orchid bark

Fertilizer:

Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a diluted, balanced houseplant fertilizer.

Stop feeding in fall and winter when growth slows.
Pruning & Maintenance:

Remove yellow or damaged leaves to keep it neat.

Wipe leaves occasionally to remove dust.

Pinch back stems if it becomes leggy to encourage fuller growth.
Pests:

Watch for spider mites, mealybugs, and scale, especially in dry conditions.

Use insecticidal soap or neem oil if needed.
Toxicity:

Mildly toxic if ingested, so keep out of reach of pets and children.
