Size

* The plant photos shown are our stock images used to represent the general appearance, size, and quality of the plant you’ll receive. Please remember that each plant is unique—natural variations in color, shape, and size are completely normal!

Light

  • Prefers bright, indirect light.

  • Can tolerate medium light, but too little light causes dull color and stretched growth.

  • Avoid direct sun, which can scorch the leaves.

Water

  • Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil are dry.

  • This variety is semi-succulent and stores water in its leaves, so it prefers to dry out slightly between waterings.

  • Overwatering is the most common issue — keep it on the drier side.

  • Reduce watering in winter.

Humidity

  • Enjoys average household humidity.

  • Doesn’t require high humidity, but extremely dry air may cause slight leaf curling.

Temperature

  • Ideal range: 65–80°F (18–27°C).

  • Keep away from drafts, AC vents, and cold windows below 55°F (13°C).

Soil

  • Use a light, well-draining mix.

  • Ideal blend: potting soil + perlite + a bit of orchid bark or sand.

  • Avoid heavy or compact soil.

Fertilizer

  • Feed every 4–6 weeks in spring and summer with a diluted balanced fertilizer.

  • No need to fertilize in fall/winter.

Pruning & Maintenance

  • Remove yellow or damaged leaves.

  • Naturally compact — requires minimal pruning.

Propagation

  • Propagate through leaf cuttings or stem cuttings in soil or water.

  • Leaf cuttings root slower but work reliably.

Common Issues

  • Mushy stems/leaves: overwatering.

  • Droopy or wrinkled leaves: underwatering.

  • Legginess: insufficient light.

  • Pests: generally pest-resistant but watch for mealybugs.

Pet Safety

  • Peperomias are non-toxic to pets, making them a great option for homes with cats and dogs.
