Light

• Prefers bright, indirect light.

• Can tolerate medium light, but deep leaf color is best in brighter conditions.

• Avoid direct sun, which can scorch the textured leaves.

Water

• Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil are dry.

• Rosso is semi-succulent, storing water in its leaves, so it’s safer to underwater than overwater.

• Reduce watering in winter.

Humidity

• Enjoys average household humidity.

• Will tolerate slightly higher humidity, but avoid overly damp conditions.

Temperature

• Ideal range: 65–80°F (18–27°C).

• Avoid cold drafts and temperatures below 55°F (13°C).

Soil

• Requires a light, fast-draining mix.

• Use potting soil mixed with perlite and a bit of orchid bark or sand.

• Avoid dense, water-retentive soil.

Fertilizer

• Feed every 4–6 weeks in spring and summer with a diluted balanced fertilizer.
