Size

The plant photos shown are our stock images used to represent the general appearance, size, and quality of the plant you’ll receive. Please remember that each plant is unique—natural variations in color, shape, and size are completely normal!

 Light

  • Bright, indirect light is best — think near a sunny window with filtered light.

  • They can handle some direct morning sun, but harsh afternoon rays might scorch the leaves.

  • If it’s not getting enough light, you’ll notice leaf drop or new leaves coming in smaller.

 Water

  • Water when the top 2–3 inches of soil feel dry.

  • When you water, go slow and soak the soil thoroughly, then let excess water drain out.

  • Avoid “keeping it damp” — fiddle leaf figs hate soggy roots and can develop root rot easily.

 Temperature & Humidity

  • Keep it cozy! Ideal range is 65–80°F (18–27°C).

  • Avoid drafts and sudden temperature swings.

  • They love moderate humidity — a small humidifier nearby or grouping plants together can help.

 Soil & Pot

  • Use a well-draining mix — something made for houseplants or one with peat, bark, and perlite.

  • Make sure your pot has a drainage hole.

  • Repot about every 1–2 years, or when roots start poking out the bottom.

 Pruning & Cleaning

  • You can prune to shape or control height — do this in spring or early summer when it’s actively growing.

  • Wipe leaves occasionally with a damp cloth to remove dust and keep them glossy and breathing well.

 Bonus Tip

  • Rotate your plant every few weeks so it grows evenly toward the light.

  • If you’re noticing brown edges, it’s often due to low humidity or inconsistent watering.
